Refund Policy
Purpose of This Policy
This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which clients may request a refund for marketing consulting services. Our goal is to provide clarity, fairness, and transparency while protecting the time, expertise, and value provided during consulting engagements.
General Policy
Because marketing consulting involves time, strategic planning, and intellectual work, all completed services are non-refundable.
Refunds may be granted only under specific conditions outlined below.
Deposit / Retainer Fees
To begin work, a non-refundable retainer is required. This fee reserves project time and covers initial planning and research.
Retainers are non-refundable once payment is made.
Unused hours from a retainer may be credited toward future services at our discretion.
Cancellation of Sessions or Meetings
If a client needs to cancel or reschedule a consulting session:
24-hour notice required to reschedule without penalty.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours may be charged the full session fee.
Missed sessions (“no shows”) are non-refundable and are considered completed.
Refunds for Projects
Refunds for project-based services (e.g., marketing strategy, branding plans, audits) are generally not available once work has begun, since deliverables involve research, planning, and specialized labor.
Refunds may be considered only if:
The project has not started, and
No preliminary work or research has been performed.
Partial Refunds (When Applicable)
Partial refunds may be considered only before any drafts, research, or deliverables have been created.
Once project materials have been shared, no refunds will be issued.
Refunds for Digital Products
If your firm offers downloadable templates, guides, or training materials:
All digital products are non-refundable due to the nature of instant access.
If the client experiences access issues, support will be provided until resolved.
Quality Concerns & Revisions
If the client is dissatisfied with a draft or deliverable:
The consultant will provide one to two rounds of revisions (customize this number).
Requests must align with the original scope of work.
Additional revisions or out-of-scope work may incur additional fees.
Refunds will not be issued for dissatisfaction if the work aligns with the agreed-upon scope.
Termination of Contract
Either party may terminate the contract with written notice.
If the client terminates:
Client is responsible for payment of all completed work, including work in progress.
No refunds will be issued for work already performed.
If the consultant terminates:
A prorated refund may be issued for uncompleted portions of prepaid services.
Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback without contacting us first is considered a violation of this policy.
All work delivered prior to a chargeback becomes void of usage rights.
We may pursue dispute resolution and legal action if necessary.
Policy Acceptance
By purchasing services, paying a retainer, or signing a service agreement, the client acknowledges and agrees to this Refund Policy.
